Our Wedding: Engagement Pictures

I finally have everything organized to completely recap our wedding & am going to focus on doing that over the next few weeks!

Below are some of my favorite engagement pictures!  You can see more on our photographer's blog here: http://rachaelhouser.com/blog/owensboro-engagement-session/

We did three looks & locations and I think our photographer did a wonderful job!  We can't say enough about her!

This truck was restored by my Dad & grandfather and made for such good pictures!
The blanket we are sitting/laying on in these pictures is a wedding ring quilt that belonged to my paternal grandmother. She used it a lot towards the end of her life & I cherished having it. It made me feel like she could still be a part of our day!

The wine bottle in our pictures is a bottle we purchased the day we got engaged & we then used this bottle to toast at our wedding : )

So proud of my hardworking husband!

Downtown Owensboro is one of our favorite places to spend time together so it's only fitting that we did part of our engagement shoot here.
Walks by the river are one of our favorite things to do during beautiful weather! Very special place for us : )

We are so in love with our engagement and wedding pictures!  Pictures are so important to me & I had a vision for what I wanted and Rachael captured it perfectly.

  2. These pictures are darling! My favorites are the last two. Your dress is super cute, and I love the lit up fountain behind you. Can't wait to see the rest of your recap posts.

    1. Thank you! I love those as well. Our downtown is one of our favorite places to hang out so that made those pictures even more special!
